水に流す日

這封是之前在台灣天主教學校讀書的gabe d.寄給大家的信，他目前人在柏林，這讓我我想到他手臂上的刺青，以及別離前的擁抱，還有他i-pod震耳的搖滾樂 當然，還有bible Hello Everyone : ) My apologies for not writing sooner... I think the last time that you all heard from me I was in Taiwan about to start my third and final quarter of Bible School... (thank you all again SOOO much for your prayers and support). I did get to finish the school and I am very proud of the certificate that is now hanging on my wall! I graduated from the School of Biblical Studies on December 19, and got on a plane for Berlin on the 23. I hadn't seen my mom and sister in over a year, so being able to spend Christmas this year with them was a huge blessing! Before I came here, I didnt know what the heck I was coming to Berlin for.. I just figured that it would be a good time to pray, and seek the Lord for guidance and also good to spend time with my mom and sister.. I got the word of the Lord to come here and be a servant to them, and to help them with their ministry however possible. Since I've been here I've been LOVING it. They evangelize to the people group that I feel the most called to and that is people on the streets who are caught in addictions, who have no hope, & who DESPERATELY need Jesus. Coming from a similar past, I really feel that God can use me here to speak truth into their lives, and to show them that we serve a big God. A God who is above Heroin, Crack, and Alcohol addictions, A God who is able to deliver from all sins, and is able to give a future and a hope! I have already talked with many different people here.. and Its really no walk in the park.. Most of them are SO stuck in their ways, and are complete Atheists.. But on the upside they are warming upto us and are willing to talk and take our cookies/tea.. Beyond the evangelism that my mom and sis do throughout the week, God has been opening other doors for me to serve as well.. I just recently got connected with the YWAM here in Berlin, who are having their first DTS this April.. I am praying about how much to get involved with them, and I definitely plan on helping them with their worship and music.. Through the YWAMMERS I got plugged in with a Youth Center here and I have joined the youth groups worship team, to play the drums and the guitar (not at the same time), and I already got the opportunity to drum for worship in front of the WHOLE church which was a little scary, but went well.. As soon as it warms up here, and the parks are open and flourishing with people again, I plan to start a ministry in the parks, and it will look like this. Me, my bongo drum, a guitar, a barbacue, wieners, bibles, tracks, and a sign that says "Please join me, bring a drum, lets jam" (or something like that).. I am praying that God will send me more percussionists and people to be committed to goto the parks with me throughout the week, and God has already sent me one drummer actually, so im excited about that! I now clearly see why God has brought me to Berlin, and I am constantly amazed at his faithfulness to always open doors for me to serve him no matter where I am in the world. Please continue to pray for me.. I feel there is a lot of spiritual warfare going on in this city, and so many peoples hearts are VERY hardened to the gospel.. Please pray that God will give me wisdom as I talk with these people, and boldness, as Germans can be a little intimidating, and if any of you feel led to support me financially that would be very helpful as well!
